Wassdoc's Blog

My father has been keeping a journal for years and encouraged me to do the same. This is my limited attempt to share the thoughts going on in my head on a somewhat regular basis. I am a husband, a father of two great women, father-in-law to an incredible man, grandfather to an amazing boy and adorable little girl, a Geriatrician, an age group triathlete and 16-time Ironman. I endeavor to give life everything I have and not to ever look back!

About Me

My photo
Wassdoc
I'm a reformed couch potato, who had never run a mile prior to turning 32. I then proceeded to do 9 marathons in the next seven years, started doing some triathlons and got a herniated disc. I was never very fast, but got a coach in 2005 and haven't looked back. Triathlon is a lifestyle to me, and allows me to show others that one can get stronger, fitter and faster even as they get older!
